Training Profile

To become a member of our association, you must have the training profile prerequisite. This profile represents 2 degrees of training necessary for all massage therapists to give a quality and professional massage.

    2nd degree : massotherapist ( 1020 hrs )

  • 650 hrs. massage technique maneuvers :
     swedish, kinesitherapy, californian, shiatsu
  • 190 hrs. anatomy, physiology, pathology
  •  45 hrs. help relation (30h) & interview techniques (15h)
  •  45 hrs. sexuality and professional practices
  •  25 hrs. code of ethics and professional aspects
  •  55 hrs. supervised in-service training & practice periods
  •  10 hrs. massage techniques follow-up – receive 10  massages from registered massotherapists

  • 1st degree : massotherapist ( 2005 hrs )

  • 1020 hrs. mandatory 2nd degree training profile
  • 300 hrs. of 2 massage technique maneuvers:  swedish,kinesitherapy, californian, shiatsu, ect.
  • 135 hrs. anatomy, physiology, pathology
  • 45 hrs. help relation(30h) and interview techniques(15h)
  • 45 hrs. sexuality and professional practices
  • 300 hrs. supervised in-sevice training
  • 10 hrs. massage techniques follow-up – receive 10 massages from registered massotherapists
  • 100 hrs. Lymphatic drainage
  • 50 hrs. Hot Stone massage
